The Low Pro Electric Lumbar Sacral Orthosis Brace is a modular low-profile lumbar sacral back support using all the components of the larger body jackets. Integrated into the Low Pro brace is an electrotherapy garment material with the ability to add any electrotherapy stimulator. The stimulation will be conducted through the garment to the treatment site in the lower lumbar providing thorough pain relief. These components are compiled into the new lower profile format while still providing support and rigidity. The design uses lightweight polymers to replace traditional rigid plastics along with Air-Lite™ material in all the pressure sensitive areas to reduce rubbing and provides a more custom fit. The design also aligns the spine in a natural curve and gently compresses the abdominal cavity, producing inner cavity pressure. This unloads the spine making the back wrap ideal for non-surgical candidates or for the chronic pain patients with minor surgeries such as IDET procedures, ect.
Coding Information
The Low Pro Electric allows you to bill for three SADMERC approved products in one. Allowables can include the back brace, TENS Unit, and electrotherapy garment. LO627 is a suggested code for a LSO Lumbar Orthosis with sagital control with rigid anterior and posterior panels. The EP731 is the suggested code for the electrotherapy garment. TENS unit suggested coding is EO720. The allowable can total approximately $900.00 for one product!
